2020 Election Information

Governor Greg Abbot has suspended certain provisions in the Texas Election Code, to move the primary runoff date to July 14, 2020.

For the safety of our seniors and the precautionary public health measures arising from the recent cases of the Corona virus in Hill County. The Hill County Democratic Party is recommending every register voter that is 65 and older or disabled to please call the Hill County Elections Administration to request an application for vote by mail ballot. 254-582-4072. If you have already filed an annual application, you should receive a ballot for the runoff in July and the general election in November. 

We are diligently work on an alternative voting procedure for the July 14th Democratic runoff election. 

Until then, this is the election procedures for Hill County Democratic Runoff and is contingent on any changes to the election code made by Governor Abbott.

Thursday, July 2, 2020 Last day for early voting clerk to receive applications for a ballot to be voted by mail.


The early voting dates are June 29th – July 10th. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
