Will I receive a ballot automatically?

If you checked the “annual application” section on the mail-in ballot application that you filled in during the primary election, you will be automatically mailed a mail-in ballot.


I want to request a mail-in ballot:

Who can request a mail-in ballot?

Anyone over 65 or who has a disability or will be out of the county on election day or during the period for early voting or who is confined to jail may request a mail-in ballot.


What do I do with my mail-in ballot once I receive it?

You will need to fill in your election choices once you receive your ballot and either mail it back to the elections office or deliver it in person. Hill County Elections Office at John Erwin Annex, 200 E. Franklin St. Hill, Texas, 76645.


May I mail in my ballot?

You may place your ballot in the mail. If you choose to mail your ballot, be sure that it is in the mail by Friday, February 18, 2022, to ensure that it arrives at the election’s office before election day.


May I hand-deliver my ballot?

You may hand-deliver your main ballot to the Hill County Elections Office at John Erwin Annex, 200 E. Franklin St. Hill, Texas. You will need to show your identification when you hand-deliver the ballot, and you will be asked to sign a form stating that you have hand-delivered your ballot. You must deliver your own ballot. Someone else may not deliver it for you.


If I request a mail-in ballot but decide I would rather vote in person, may I do that?

Yes, you can vote in person, even if you requested a mail-in ballot. Your in-person vote will be provisional until it is confirmed that you have not also mailed in a ballot.

You can fill in and print out the form online and then return it by mail to the Hill County Elections Office at John Erwin Annex, 200 E. Franklin St. Hill, Texas 76645 https://webservices.sos.state.tx.us/vrapp/index.asp
